The project reimagines biotechnology not as isolated industrial equipment, but as a distributed architectural ecosystem capable of producing food and textile materials closer to the places where they are consumed.
Inspired by biological growth processes, the proposal develops a modular system where individual laboratory architectural language positioned between research infrastructure, public space and future urban landscape
Rather than imagining a distant sci-fu future, the project proposes a deployable and adaptable framework for decentralised production: scalable, resource-efficient and capable of operating within existing cities, remote environments or emerging industrial territories
